Arrested while singing psalms

Three Christians were arrested in Moscow, Idaho on September. 23rd, 2020 for not “social distancing” while at an outdoor Psalm sing. The outdoor singing has been practiced for a long time, but this doubled as a mask protest. The arrests were illegal. The city later acknowledged that that they were in error, but were unapologetic and doubled down on their efforts. For that reason the city is now being sued by those arrested “to make a point with the government agencies that they can’t ignore their limitations and they need to prioritize our first amendment rights.”
